This explains what Stravue collects, why, and what you can do about it. Stravue is operated by Owen Fisher. If anything here is unclear, email support@stravue.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- What you ask us to capture: the website URLs and goals you submit, and the screenshots and reports produced from them.
- Payment: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your plan and status; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic usage: enough to run the service, keep it secure, and fix problems.
- How you use the product: records of actions inside Stravue — what you ask a capture for, which suggested pins and captions you keep, change or remove, what you export, and what you delete. We keep these to see where Stravue got it right or wrong for you.
How we use it
To provide the service: to run your captures, show your reports, handle billing, keep your account secure, and answer support requests. We also study the usage records above to improve Stravue — for example, if people often correct a suggested caption the same way, we fix the suggestion. This never involves training AI models on your data, and deleting your account deletes these records with it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your data or captures to train AI models.
- We do not share your reports with anyone unless you share them.
Sharing
We use a small number of providers to run Stravue: Stripe for payments, our hosting provider for the server, and an AI provider that processes the page text of a capture to write its notes. When you create a public share link, anyone with that link can view that report until you revoke it.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and captures while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing support@stravue.com, and we will action it. You can also ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continuing to use Stravue after a change means you accept it.
